Miniatures by Aidan Campbell offers a commissioned model making and miniature production service, as well as sculpting and retailing my own large range of figure castings. Working as a commissioned miniature artist and sculptor for clients ranging from private collectors and museums to other model manufacturers/retailers, I can produce a wide range of unique miniature figures and portraits. Including military and fantasy figures for table-top war-gaming, historic and civilian figures for inclusion as accessories in large models, through to one off character sculpts and hand painted miniature copies of famous art works. Work which has so far ranged from the smallest 1/440th scale figures much smaller than a grain of rice, through to large six inch tall pieces, and from serious scale models and traditional paintings to exaggerated comic characters.

My own range of "off the shelf" products includes hundreds of economically priced characterful miniature people for model railway enthusiasts working in the popular British scales of 4mm and 7mm:foot. Products available direct from myself, or from several other traders here and abroad. In addition to these 'OO' gauge and 'O' gauge figures, I have also produced many more smaller ranges or odd groups of figures and other accessories for specialist retailers, clubs, and societies working in minority scales or other disciplines. Subjects including dolls houses, war-gaming and maritme modelling, and items which in most cases are only available direct from the respective groups or traders.

Although working primarily as a miniature figure artist, I have a busy commissions schedule, taking on a wide variety of other model making and craft work; Most commonly scenic model making and small scale dioramas, along with painting and weathering clients own model work, where I've a growing reputation for producing near photo-realistc finishes barely distinguishable from the real thing. Other work undertaken has included illustrative and educational models for museums, and I can undertake pattern mastering and produce castings from your own patterns. I have produced fittings and accessories for dolls houses, and traditional two dimensional artwork (painting, sketching and illustrations). As a fully qualified professional museum conservator and restorer I may also consider model restoration work or quote for the manufacture of full sized authentically produced replica historic costume, props. or artefacts for museum display or historical re-enactment.
