Currently there is no facility to order directly from this website. However, if you wish to order from the catalogue, there is an easily printable order form which can be mailed to me, along with payment by cheque or postal order, to the postal address given.

I regret, due to the high charges levied by banks on a small business such as this, I cannot easily accept credit or debit card payment, but for those customers, particularly those abroad, for whom making payment in pound sterling is difficult, money can be e-mailed to me from your card using the Paypal scheme , for which it is necessary to impose a 5% handling sur-charge. (I would still ask that you post a printed version of your completed order to me for completeness of records but will endeavour to deal with any orders I receive solely by e-mail.

Please allow up to 28 days for mainland delivery, although where possible, orders for unpainted castings will usually be despatched return of post.

Commissioned Work.

"Figure sculpting and/or painting, architectural work and model weathering. Small scale models or full size replicas. Static display pieces or functional items for re-enactment. Castings produced from your own masters. Any period of history willingly considered."

People often ask what a typical commission may cost, which is much like asking how long is a piece of string; Since they are all different, there is no such thing as a typical commission. Prices will depend on many factors, such as choice of subject, the amount of research needed to be undertaken prior to starting the the actual physical work, the complexity, size and detail of the required model or artefact, techniques or methods used in it's construction as well as the cost of the materials used.

However, since much of my commissioned work is related to figure modelling I can give a rough approximation of costs for figures here. Costs for painting figures depends largely on their size and level of detail, small scale figures to be used as background accessories in larger models and dioramas can be quickly finished from as little as £3 or £4 each with prices working up to well in excess of £200 for a large scale collectors model with a complex and detailed military uniform painted to competition standards.

For sculpting new subjects which I think I could easily sell in reasonable numbers I will often not charge for the commission, and will, as time permits just add what a customer has asked for to my own catalogue. If the request was for a sufficiently large number of identical castings (usually in excess of about forty or fifty pieces) I may make its addition to my range more of a priority, allocating time for the work in the way I would a commission. Something which often appeals to many clubs and societies who purchase new designs on behalf of their members. For truly unique one off commissions, which would not form a profitable addition to my own ranges of figures, the cost of sculpting a new figure in the smaller scales such as 1/76th or 1/43rd scale would typically be in the order of £100-£150, but depending on the work involved and the extent to which the new figure could be based upon existing work I may be able to bring prices down to less than this. Larger more detailed character sculpts in 1/35th, 1/16th or 1/12th scale would cost upwards of £200, typically £400-£800, again depending on the work involved.

Nevertheless, I am always willing to negotiate mutually satisfactory deals with other retailers, or prospective retailers looking to start selling their own ranges of figure castings to cater for niche markets they've identified within their own area of interest. So feel free to discuss your ideas with me, in some cases if you are looking to order a sufficiently large number of castings I may be able to sculpt the new designs to your sepcifications without charging commission costs for this part of the work. Similarly if you already have patterns you just wanted a large number of castings producing from, I may not necessasrily have to charge you for mould making. For those retailers or manufacturers that are already established with their own mould making and casting facilities, I am still willing to dicsuss terms if you are looking to commission the sculpting of new patterns to buy the intellectual rights to these designs to cast and sell yourself.

So, large retailer, manufacturer, or private individual, if you think I may be able to produce what you are looking for feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements. The more information and reference material you can provide up front the easier it is for me to offer a realistic quote for the work. I would however, ask that any pictures you intend e-mailing to me as part of an initial enquiry are sent as jpeg format and are limitted to a maximum combined file size of 100kb.(preferably much less) We can then make arrangements to send more or higher resolution pictures if neccessary"
