I've been painting and sketching since early childhood, and when still quite young won prizes in both local and national competion for wildlife illustration, particularly birds of prey and waterfowl. In fact when a child I always assumed I'd spend my whole life doing this. It's funny how life gets in the way of those childhood dreams.

Although I don't have the time I'd like to spend on my art work I do still try to make time when I can and have been slowly teaching myself the basics of portrait work and continue to experiment with water colours, acrylic being my preffered medium. I'm also beginning to experiment with photography as another artistic medium that allows me more instant results when short of spare time.

Though it always amazes me that people should think my work worthy of being called "art" I'd be more than pleased to discuss producing a painting or drawing, or provide prints of any of my photgraphs, for anybody that likes my work.
